Vintage Camper Reno: halfway there

I’ll be vintage before this is all done… wait, I already am. That reminds me, I was carded while buying some sparkling rose’ today. After leaving the shop, my tween asked why they asked for my ID… because it’s sooooo apparent that I’m over 21. Nice.

We are busy finishing the other side of the Skamper and it takes all hands on deck. One more wall and ceiling and then the inside is pretty much done ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ

I even started a coat of paint!

I’m going to do gray and white but I’m thinking it needs a splash of color. It feels so good to put some fresh paint on it, even though I’m probably jumping ahead. It still needs to be sealed and patched in places. Oh well, I can always touch it up.

The floors are on the wall!

Between the heat, thunderstorms and a horrible sunburn I am slowly making progress on my camper.

After finishing the cabinets and hardware, I started the flooring. It changes the whole feel already. Bye bye 80’s.

I’ve decided to install the peel and stick vinyl flooring to the one wall that the kitchen is on. I โค๏ธ the texture it’s adding to the space.

I thought that the adhesive on the flooring would be enough but I ended up having to use a couple of caulking tubes of E6000 glue. I used painters tape on the seams to hold it all in place. Nothing is ever as easy as I think it’s going to be๐Ÿ™„

I’ve just ordered the foam cushion inserts and bought the fabric for covering them. So excited! BUT FIRST- let’s get some walls and a bench/bed up. It’s starting to look like a camperโœจ
