I know I’ve been AWOL for a loooong while. I’ve been living life and enjoying every minute! It’s starting to cool off a bit and I always fall head over heals in love with FALL all over again. Pumpkin lattes, baked goods and a fresh new color pallette all around me!! Can’t complain.
I love this naked lamp. I removed the fabric from this vintage shade and placed it on this FREE find! I might add some strips of linen but am enjoying it as is for now.
This one is decoupaged in old book pages then distressed with an antique finish. I used Rub n Buff for the arms. If you haven’t tried this stuff, you will be amzed at how easy it is!
I redid this $5 brass find using kitchen twine and hot glue. I love it! You can see the detail in the closeup pic.
This one is my favorite just because it was for my 2 little ladies. I spray painted it then added large plastic beads to look like crystal.
One of my simple pleasures is deciding what to put on my front door. I have wreaths, frames, planters… you know, the usual. I love seeing the unexpected and it totally tickles me when I get to use something I already have in a new way. This shallow wire bowl gave me both of those. It’s a little simpler than I would go but I’m enjoying it.
I just listed this wooden display stand in the shop. I would really love to keep it for myself but I am noticing some hoarding issues when it comes to my vintage and unusual findings. Why must I get so emotionally attached to everything?
I’ve loved this little wall hanging by For the Love of Joy ever since I saw it on Anna’s blog. I posted it on Facebook and what do you know?? A sweet, sweet friend surprised me with it. I love those kinds of surprises when you not only get a gift but you realize somebody was listening! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
