the best sugar cookies ever.


A strong statement, I know. But it’s true. This is absolutely the best sugar cookie dough for cut-out cookies. The dough was easy to work with. It stayed in shape when baked. After re-rolling the scrap pieces over and over, the cookies still stayed tender. And most importantly, they taste darn good.


I used this recipe for cookie icing. Very easy to work with and dried nice and glossy. Try this recipe! You won’t be disappointed.

  3. I made sugar cookies today, not from this recipe, but mine always have a more flour-y taste…nothing like sugar at all!
    How can i fix that? Add more sugar? less flour?

    1. Maybe there isn’t enough butter and sugar? I can’t fiddle with a cookie recipe much. So much chemistry involved. Try this one out. YUM! Chewy, not too sweet, easy to work with. Have fun!
