revamping a mobile.

This is a fun and easy way to make a personalized baby mobile. The little birds were made using the pattern from this book. I increased the size by 150%. Just be sure that they all weigh the same BEFORE hand sewing them closed!

This project was for a cute little new arrival. I was more than happy to have a part in planning a baby shower for a sweet friend. It was sort of a “recession” shower theme. She didn’t want anyone to buy anything, but hand down some items they already had on hand. We put down newspaper for the tablecloth and hung the donated baby clothes from a clothesline with clothespins. It turned out so cute, but unfortunately I don’t have any pictures.

  1. I like your whichcraft. Seriously – amazing job! I would not have thought of this – and now if I decide to steel your idea, i’ll know to weigh each animal first!!!!
